Dr. Krishan Vij is Professor of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology at Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Solan. He enjoys a wide ranging experience of more than 30 years in the field, gained after serving in various capacities atin State Medical Colleges and Government Medical College, Chandigarh, wherein he headed the department for about 15 years. He had been on the panel of experts of UPSC, PPSC, AIIMS and National Board of Examinations. He was nominated Fellow of Indian Congress of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology in recognition of his services towards the subject. And, the latest feather in his cap being " Dr. J. P. Modi Lifetime Achievement Award 2013 " presented to him by the Indian Association of Medicolegal Experts.
